How does it work?

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order up to 28 days after your purchase, please send us an email to shop@tellmewine.co.uk or visit us at the shop and we will process a refund. 

Amending

If you wish to amend your order, please send us an email to shop@tellmewine.co.uk or visit us at the shop 

Collection

If you pay by card or bank transfer, your order will be set aside 30 days at the shop.

Beyond these deadlines we won't guarantee the availability of the products.

What do I need to bring with me when collecting my Click & Collect grocery order at the store?

Please bring one of the following items with you when collecting your order at the store:

- Booking confirmation

- Debit/Credit card with the name of the person who placed the order

- Photographic ID such as:

- Passport

- Driving licence

- Connexions card

- Citizen card

- Military ID with photo and date of birth

We operate a ‘Think 25’ policy on age restricted products, if a colleague requests ID for restricted products, photographic ID (stated above) will be required. The person collecting the order must be age 18 or over.

Availabilities

If some reasons a product you have ordered is no longer available or if a delay would apply we will be in touch with you by email in order to either offer a refund or an alternative solution.

Delivery

"Click and Collect"

Orders will be ready to collect after 1 hour from the time of order

Orders placed within one hour of close will be ready for collection next day from 12pm

Local deliveries are currently available within 10 miles from Chepstow:

Up to 5 mile radius from Chepstow is £3 - Free with orders of £150 and above

Between 5 and 10 mile radius of Chepstow is £5 - Free with orders of £150 and above

Shipment with Parcelforce48

UK Mainland delivery via parcel force over £150 is FREE
UK Mainland delivery via parcel force under £150 is £9.90
Orders are despatched Tuesday - Friday and will be delivered within 3 working days.

Returns

Our policy lasts 28 days.
If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Gift cards are also non-returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 28 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@tellmewine.co.uk and send your item to: Tell Me Wine, 16 Nelson street, Chepstow, NP16 5HT, United Kingdom.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and posted directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

To return your product, you should post it 2nd class Royal Mail and obtain a proof of postage to: Tell Me Wine, 16 Nelson street, Chepstow, NP16 5HT, United Kingdom

You will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning your item. Postage costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund and if you paid the cost of postage when placing the order, it will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are posting an item over £50, you should consider using Royal Mail tracking service or purchasing postage insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. 

 

Booking a wine tasting

1. All participants must be legally old enough to drink alcohol and will consume any alcohol responsibly in the presence of our staff. We reserve the right to ask any guests to provide proof of age of any guests in accordance with the “Challenge25” policy

2. We recommend that any attendees who are driving do not consume alcohol or book a taxi after the event. We are not liable or responsible for any individual who chooses to drive from the event.

3. As soon as a booking is made no refund or credit note will be issued but a postponement can be offered under conditions (see below)

4. Cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to the event: you will be offered the possibility to reschedule your event (validity 6 months).

4. Cancellations received between 48 hours up to the day of the event: no transfers will be provided.

5. In the event of 'no-shows' - no transfers will be provided.

6. In case Tell Me Wine has to cancel an event for some reason a full refund or a credit note will be offered.
